Sad to hear Bob Noorda passed away back in January this year. He is most famous for being the graphic designer that designed all the NY subway signs. Know ya history. In the 1950s and early 1960s he designed posters and advertisements for Pirelli where he also served as art director.
Hats off and R.I.P my design brother, ya stuff was hot and timeless.
